We want to eat everything in this book. Everything. Williams-Sonoma Comfort Food: Warm and Homey, Rich and Hearty
should really come with a complimentary bib.
Most of the recipes in the book come complete with pictures, and are very easy to follow. They are also not shy at all about encouraging you to ingest a day’s worth of saturated fat in one sitting, as we noticed in the recipe for Blueberry Pancakes where they encourage you to “slather with butter”. In the spirit of Julia Child (“if you’re afraid of butter, use cream”), we did just that – and those blueberry pancakes were heavenly.
