Girlfriendbooks.com was
created by two college buddies
who, 15 years later, find themselves in different states and all grown
up. (They also have an uncanny resemblance to one another but that's
another story.) We both recently gave up careers in the big city to stay at
home in suburbia with our dear children, and although we love them more than life
itself, we got a bit bored. Considering our dreams of becoming
hairdressers and opening up our own beauty shop have fallen by the wayside,
we decided to work with our love of books and reading and work together to
bring you this site.
Maria Micolucci
is a work at home mother of two who lives in Pennsylvania but her heart
(and roots) belong in New England. She is responsible for the
