It looks like a book, but it's much more fun! The girl in your life
will flip over this make- your-own bracelet kit from Klutz. It's
easy for them to create a look all their own, and in the end they have a
pretty piece of jewelry. This item makes a wonderful gift, a welcome

for the little jewelry lover!

Potholders and Other Loopy Projects
My first memory of making something for my mother as a child that she
actually used was a potholder. I was so proud of it and my mother
used that potholder for years and years until it fell apart. Now, I
have my own from my daughter thanks to this wonderful Klutz kit. The
stretchy loops come in fun colors and the plastic loom allows for not only
potholder creation, but other fun things as well!

I Face the Wind is a story, activity, and science project combined.
Gather up those supplies (simple things like a coat hanger), grab your
little one, and get ready for some story-time and science fun! Why does
the wind push you? How can you make air molecules move? These
questions and more are explored, as you make learning science a
pleasurable experience for your child.

It Feels Like Snow by Nancy Cote
Alice really can feel
the snow coming just by the way she feels. But her neighbors don't
believe her. While she prepares for the coming flakes, they pay no
attention - and find themselves snowed in. A few days later,
she feels it again, but alas, her aloof neighbors pay no heed. By
the third storm, Alice decides to prepare for them, creating believers and
friends along the way. This is a book that can teach a valuable
lesson to your child - trust your instincts and act on them.

Marta and the Bicycle by Germano Zullo
This inspirational story about a girl who wants to ride a bike sets a
wonderful example for children. Little Marta wanted to ride so much,
she built her own bicycle, taught herself to ride, and even enters in the
town race. Marta makes her dreams a reality in this vividly
illustrated book.

her grandmother out for a change, to the Museum of Natural History.
This book truly embodies the sweet nature of the grandparent/grandchild
relationship, while you learn a thing or two about dinosaurs! Sweet,
intelligent, and entertaining, its sure to become a nighttime favorite for
your 5-8 year old.

Snuggle Puppy: A Little Love Song by Sandra Boynton
Another precious book for the little one from Sandra Boynton. My son, a 3
year old boy of few words, actually hugged it and said "I love this
book". And then proceeded to carry it around with him (and his
dog "woof") for the rest of the day. We can't give a better
testament than that. You'll love singing this little love song to
your child which ends with a big hug and smooch!

Unique Monique by Maria Rousaki
Poor Monique just wants to be unique. Forced to wear a not so
exciting uniform to school, she raids her mom's old trunk in the attic for
something a little...different to wear to school. When she shows up
in a big floppy red hat, she causes quite a commotion. And the next
day all the children were wearing hats - which didn't make the principal
very happy. Everything Monique tried to be unique wasn't
working. Until a trip to the orthodontist makes her very unique,
indeed, and doesn't break the rules!
