Domestic Goddess - for the
Martha Stewart in all of us.
Home Comforts : The Art and Science of Keeping House by Cheryl Mendelson
Cheryl Mendelson is a lawyer by day, domestic goddess by night.
Although this book seems to irritate some people, there is no question that
this definitive guide on how to do everything housekeeping is worth it's
weight to have around. Cheryl painstakingly details how to make a
house a home, from how to do laundry, to entertaining tips. The
comprehensiveness of the book alone is remarkable, however, for those of us
who are looking for a deeper meaning in vacuuming the rug, it is strangely
comforting to know that this author believes it is essential to not only
the physical comforts of our family, but the emotional comfort as
well.

Simply wonderful
recipes for the grill and indoors too, if you wish. It is rare when
you encounter a cook book that entices you to try so many recipes at once,
you can't choose what to do first. Should you try the Tandoori
Chicken or the Herb-Crusted Salmon? You decide.
