Where have you been?  Oh, I guess the appropriate question is, where have we been.  As we all know, us girlfriends sometimes need time to regroup; to refresh our minds.  And that's what we were doing, although we can't guarantee the freshness of our minds. Not like the freshness guarantee on, say, a loaf of bread.  You can not return us.  You can only unsubscribe from us, although we hope you won't because we intend on bringing you some great book reviews (and much more!) this year.

We just can't help but to comment on the soon-to-be-released book, Why Hasn't He Called? I suppose we can not comment on the content, because, well, we haven't read it yet. But we are more than a little perturbed that this husband and wife team, owners of a matchmaking service, seem to be preying on the emotions of women to sell their book.  We could save you $11.53 and tell you that if he hasn't called, it's not because he's scared because your first date went so well, or that he had a stroke.  He didn't call because he didn't want to.  Stop obsessing over him and go find someone who can't wait to call you.

We discovered a great weekly book review podcast.  We are a little jealous that we don't have podcasts, but not so much that we won't pass along this great link to those overachievers at the New York Times.
